The 1996 AGP was pretty good, Hill and Villeneuve going toe to toe for most of the race. |

And that start crash, my first race as enthusiast. This was the only race my soccer fan friends called me to watch. Being the first one and in the middle of the night. Was nice to hang out until the start. And always crazy races. That in the early 00's. My favorite one is 2010 iirc. The one with rain and dry. |

Which one was it where Hakkinen broke while leading on a restart and F1 had the closest it's ever had to a proper, field bunched up restart? Cos that was awesome. EDIT : that would be '99. @6:00 |

Crashes are always fun, especially if a 7 time world champion proves that he is also still able to make mistakes. There was never a moment of peace, unlike in 90% of the other races of the last years where after 10 laps you pretty much get an idea of what is happening, sit back, doze of and wait for the finish. What was so good about 2009, apart from the last laps battle between Vettel and Kubica? Or 1997 where the only surprise was when Frentzen's brakes failed? |

1997 was genuinely good, but I think I enjoyed 2009 the most. It may not have been the most exciting race, but I was in such a good mood that day. |

Frentzen's brake failure robbed us of a little action at the end. It's also worth remembering that Coulthard winning ended a long McLaren dry spell. 2009 was really enjoyable for a few reasons. Firstly because of the changing of the guard at the front... Brawn versus Red Bull?? Add in Ferrari looked mediocre and McLaren were nowhere, the race had a refreshing look. Secondly because you didn't know whether the new tyre rules would have an affect on the result. 5 laps before the end Jenson had a good lead but with Kubica having changed onto fresh rubber, he was favorite for the win. But then... And lastly, it was the fairy tale story of Brawn GP taking a 1-2 after nearly not surviving the winter. @  |

2009 was awesome, I went down to watch with some friends and they were all screaming when Kubica crashed on Vettel and Barrichello finished second haha |
