Heh. Watched it in delay without accessing the forum and I didn't feel the need to fast-forward. Better than Australia and Malaysia. 6.

2. Like Kimi, I simply couldn't stay awake during it.

6 - Wasn't bad, not Bahrain but far from the tedium of Malaysia. Overtakes and battles throughout the top 10 bar the lead.

1/10.

I didn't expect such a boring race...specially because I think Shangai is a great circuit with interesting layout....unfortunately it not only was boring as it also made me sleep in less than 20 laps of race....so you imagine, it's already hard to be awake at 4 am, then watch a race like that....that's so frustrating because after Bahrain I thought every race from now on would be fantastic.... :slaphead:

I don't want to be THAT GUY but I honestly don't know how anyone could rate it anything but 2 or 3 out of 10.

The cars were largely just circulating on their own, there were 3 on track passes, a couple of run offs and a pit stop drama for Massa. That was literally it.

If Rosberg hadn't had such a bad qualy there would've been nothing to see, I just don't get what some people want from a race?
Are they enjoying it because their drivers had a good result? Is any F1 action worthy of rating highly even if the cars are just gapping each other?

Genuinely baffled about how anyone could enjoy that race.

I was thinking the same, but each to their own I guess. 2 from me.

The cars weren't largely just circulating closely on their own, there were many on track passes, most of which I missed plus there were drivers struggling with tyre deg so there were a couple of run offs and a pit stop drama for Massa. That was literally it.

It's good Rosberg had such a bad qualy then had issues on lap one because his recovery was a highlight to see, I just don't get what people want more from a race? After-all, that's racing I guess.
It shouldn't surprise me that people enjoy races because their drivers had a good result. Is any F1 action worthy of rating highly even if the cars are hunting each other down and overtaking each other?

Genuinely baffled about how anyone could be so blind to what happened in that race.

Corrected.

Tee hee good that we both respect each other's opinions.

Although I would suggest you rewatch the race. Lots more happened than you're giving credit for. That was a good average F1 race. Nothing more, nothing less.

I said a few pages back I'll reassess when I've downloaded the on-board feed, which Stef said showed a lot more than we just got on SkyF1

It's the first race I've not watched at F1InPubs since the start of 2012 so I miss having people's live timing, on board feed, even the pit lane channel around to consult to improve the racing when things get slow.

Probably some of that in my score too. It's all subjective.

Sorry mate but that's got nothing to do with being subjective. I have none of those benefits and instead have the shitty coverage from NBC sports to cope with. Seems more to be something to do with correct expectations.

4. Marginally better than Malaysia.

5, same as Malaysia although it felt more boring subjectively but that's probably because we're coming from such a great race in Bahrain.
