A few years ago when my career included various trips to South Carolina (Michelins American home) I was able to chat with a few guys from their motorsports arm. Michelin prefers to race against other tires. It's why it has never entered NASCAR. And why it won't return to F1. |

Most so-called 'cost cutting' is bullshit anyway. The teams just spend that money elsewhere. Many loopholes. |
