The mind stopped working. I meant Germany 1989. I remember watching Berger's crash live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4vkZSdswM4

1990 was my first full season.

My dad watched it too. Together with some CART. I recall watching races in bed and running downstairs when Krosnoff and Moore crashed....

Cant really remember which was the first one but the first time I really heard much about F1 was Imola 1994.My Father and his friends talked about the Death from Ratzenberger and on Sunday I watched the Race with my Father like a few times before.I was only 10 Years old but man this Day will last in my memory forever. The Years after that I followed F1 more and more and since 2000 I missed only 2 Races.Singapur 2011 and Hungary 2012.So you see I didnt missed much :p

The first race I remember watching was the 1994 San Marino GP, saw this race with my brother. And I can even remember that we both wondered why the hell there was only a concrete wall and no protection or whatsoever at Tamburello...

First race I remember watching was the 1994 Pacific Grand Prix, I watched a few more races of the 94' season before getting hooked and watched all of the 95' season.

Earliest memory is the 1998 Spa GP, as I was there. 2001 Spa springs to mind too, mainly because of the Burti accident. F1 didn't interest me that much until about the last bit of the 02-season and the beginning of 2003 though, as I was only interested in GT and Touring Cars. Blame that on going to every Spa 24H since my 3rd birthday (1995) apart from 2001, when I cried a lot because we couldn't go lol

First race I 'really' saw was Austria 1986; and that was the beginning of my addiction of F1 and me being a fan of Alain Prost.

I remember seeing the great Senna vs. Prost duels when they were teammates at McLaren. And I saw a lot of them, so my guess is the first race I saw was in 1988.

On Dutch tv the Formula one races was shown in this way...
- The start of the race
- a few laps
- some hockey or volleybal or football highlights
- lap ~20 to ~30
- another sports highlights
- lap ~40 untill the finish of the race.

I remember seeing that race on holiday in Wales with friends.
They were furious when Damon Hill spun off on the second lap. :)

First race I remember watching was either Monza or Hockenheim (I just remember it being a fast circuit with a lot of trees around), and I think it would have been 1991 or 1992. Dad says I watched races with him as early as 1987, but I have no memory of that.

I remember watching lots of the 1994 season. I remember 1992 when Patrese flew through the air and I remember a Estoril race where Berger spun across the pitlane while exiting. It may have been 1993.

1997 German GP. Remember it quite distinctly as I believe it was Berger's last win.

It probably was somewhere in 1998, because the first race I asked my dad to tape record for me was Australia 1999.
I remember Zanardi's crash having a very vivid sound, unusual on a replay. I was just about to turn 6 then.
