Seven. Jumping Jev (which is now his name, as even the team appear to call him that - Jev, not the jumping part), Checo's charge and a bit of unreliability action bumped it up to a 7.

Once again in 2012 the racing got better as the race went on, if the early laps had more drama it'd easily be an 8 but sadly they sucked the score down a point.

Underdog doing well is always a feelgood factor, so Perez's performance helped the enjoyment of the race here.

And despite the controversial penalties and such I'd don't really hold them against the quality of the racing.
The fact is all incidents like that come from attempts at overtaking so despite the fact the stewards might have got it wrong or might not (IMO they did, racing incident tbh) I don't really rate the race any worse because of it because at least the good racing got us there in the first place.
The higher the amount of overtaking the more likely there's going to be something contentious like that for us to debate as not every overtaking maneuver is going to end perfectly.

So the race being of good quality is almost a seperate issue from the stewards decision in my mind, its almost as if the race is either good or bad and the stewards inquiries are just a consequence of a race with more action in.

TL, DR, you have to tolerate the evil of the stewards to put up with the good of the overtaking, is what I'm trying to say ;)

so many sixes...

sometimes you people should watch a whole season of the early 90s...

anyway, it had lots of passes, some were easy, some were great. It had unexpected results, it had (for a long time) lots of drama regarding reliability. Including the top drivers! It had lots of other drama's including the (non)stewarddecisions. And all those battles...
and watching the cars into parabolica just deserves extra points!

yep, i enjoyed this one very much tbh!

7. The race went too quickly for me. I didn't even have time for a snooze.
