I'm pretty confident, rain or shine that we will be talking about the events of the race or post race for at least a week afterwards.

Can't wait for this weekends GP, it makes the sport so much more exciting just knowing someone other than a Ferrari or McLaren will dominate. I would love to see Trulli win, I think it would do so much for Toyota's GP effort in the long term. I'd like to see Rubens get a win too, only because Button already has proved his dominance. :flag: :flag:

Any idea what time today we should know about the diffusers?

This is my least favourite track on the calendar, so I'm glad we're getting it out the way early this year.

those asian racetracks have good layouts (most of them), but they just don't breath motorsport like Silverstone, Nurburg, Spa or european tracks like that

I can't agree about Shanghai being a sh*t track. I believe it is a very interesting layout. Also, who cares if racing is boring? It's fantastic to just see these cars drive.

Literally everyone except you.

Anyone know what may happen if Brawn/Williams/Toyota are excluded from Australia & Malaysia? Do the results get altered, or do these teams just lose their points? Any precedence set from the past?

If points get changed we'd have
Quote:
1. Alonso 11.5
2. Heidfeld 9
3. Buemi 8
4. Bourdais 8
5. Webber 6
6. Sutil 5
7. Hamilton 3
8. Fisichella 3
9. Massa 2.5
10. Piquet 1
11. Vettel 1
12. Raikonen 0.5

1. Torro Rosso 16
2. Renault 12.5
3. BMW 9
4. Force India 8
5. Red Bull 7
6. McLaren 3
7. Ferrari 3

otherwise if they just lose their points it would be

Quote:
1. Heidfeld 4
2. Alonso 4
3. Buemi 2
4. Webber 1.5
5. Hamilton 1
6. Bourdais 1

1. BMW 4
2. Renault 4
3. Torro Rosso 3
4. Red Bull 1.5
5. McLaren 1

Because what I said is true and what you said is untrue.

Brawn, Toyota and Williams will not get excluded from the previous GPs. The only thing that can happen is the diffusers being considered illegal, but this will have no impact on championship standings.

Brawn will continue leading and so on.

If you can remember how Flexi-wings were banned, people should already know that the results would remain, but the double diffuser would be considered illegal from the ban onwards.

BTW:This year's chinese GP has no sponsor. Sinopec has pulled out because of the economic crisis.

I'll sponsor the event for the cost of $30 if they want.

BMW protested the Malaysian GP "as a formality" so that the results could be reconsidered at the hearing. I agree it's unlikely, but I thought I'd see what it might look like ;-)
