Interlagos is lucky as the cameras are always pointing to the lakes nearby |

Just saw the calendar, and that we are in for a treat, Zandvoort, Barcelona and Monaco are going to be raced in this order. One after the other. |

what kills me in some races is the starting time, Vietnam at 4am is a real challenge to stay awake |

I'm looking forward to Zandvoort. The cars should look super quick on a narrow, high speed circuit. Old fashioned grass and gravel will hopefully make it nice and challenging as well (unless it's being removed during the current works). Even if the race does suck, it's a nice circuit and the 2021 package should allow for better racing. Yes, Barcelona is often dull, but Monaco is so unique that I always seem to enjoy it, even if it can be a procession. |

mclaren2008 wrote: But hey it's 3 European races in a row Yeah yeah, first time at Zandvoort is one of the highlights for me, always love a new event. And I do enjoy tracks that are challenging to pass, also having the same starting time for a change.... I'm just anticipating the amount of whining about the lack of overtake opportunity that this forum will produce... |

Plus there's a bridge immediately after what looks like a flat out left or right hander (depending which way they're going), which seems about as logical as putting a glass wall at the bottom of a slide to stop people falling off the end of said slide. I know it seems people are wanting to step back from safety innovation, especially after what happened at Spa last year, but isn't putting a bridge parapet in the very area a car would run wide immediately after a 150+mph corner kinda going to the other extremes? I mean it's a brand new track, just build a tunnel. |

ah yes, the direction there is from right to left on that photo perspective so going wide can be quite dangerous, specially because you might have a Verstappen trying to overtake an Ocon and Grosjean and Magnussen wandering around |

Stroll wants to become major stakeholder in Aston Martin Did I miss this before or has someone posted it? Red Bull Aston Martin will be a thing of the past if this becomes reality. Bloomberg is reporting Stroll is in pole position at the moment to buy 230 million euro worth of shares. |

yep, his intent came up by the end of last season, more to profit on the Aston SUV than on the F1 business itself and he also he can rename racing point Aston Martin and make a comeback of British Racing Green, dunno if he's keen on that stuff |

will be very funny if the man who owns Racing Point is manufacturing a car developed by Red Bull Racing (those Aston Martin hypercars), pretty much like when Williams developed a transmission for a Ferrari road car |

Why does every new Grand Prix track has to have like 55 turns? They should make them shorter, simpler, short lap times and high number of laps. |
