But why would he want to take it away from himself?

To make sure he really will have set the fastest lap in the end?

I was just looking for a reason. Does anyone knows the sector times just before his crash? Just out of curiosity...

I think he was just trying to get close enough to Glock so he could attempt a pass, I'd assume you can make up a good amount of time if you can jump those curbs enough and get away with it.

If you jump, the wall is rite tharrr

The problem is that you have to turn 90 degrees left during that chicane compared to approaching direction. In Surfers Paradise for example, most of these chicanes are in the straight and it makes the situation completely different.

I can speak a little german, but it doesn´t give me even the german nationality.

Was superb, showing battles, and Trulli train follow was good, so a 9

8 points, kept me interested from the start to the finish. Unlike Valencia we also saw some overtakings (even before the SC period).

There were even passes, so a 9

I´m really looking forward to next years aero rules and slicks comeback. This track may become even more epic it was today.

Marina Bay is definitely the most exiting new racing venue in calender since arrival of Suzuka in 1987.

Yeah, it seemed like there were actually a lot of passes. More than Canada even.

Was watching this race elsewhere so had no internet contact this time. I just wondered why so few comments, but then realized that forum had been offline.

the 2nd sc incident was interesting. First Trulli goes slow and I think Massa was forced bit off line there, and he crashed. He rejoined and forced Sutil off.

so did they ever show a full replay of Piquet's spin during the Warm-Up lap? Premiere showed it in their highlights montage but I didn't cap it.
