Yeah, despite Schumacher winning all 2004 had some good races behind Schumacher.

In 2002 and 2004 the cars were still spectacular to watch and listen too, most circuit records are still standing from 2004. Even when it was dull back then I would still enjoy just watching the cars go round at incredible speeds. Now they are cruising most of the time with their vacuum cleaner engines. Tv coverage was also better in 2002 than to what we have now.

up to 2004 we still had tobacco sponsorship giving the teams good backing and cars on the track almost every day (in case of Ferrari)

A lot of people looking at 2002 and 2004 in strange tinted glasses. Certainly not rose colored.

I liked a lot those seasons but I'm a Schumacher fan so for me a good race was the one that he won

it was from 2006 onwards that I started seeing some races as boring

In 2015 at least Rosberg was allowed to challenge Lewis. In 2004 Barrichello was not allowed to go near Schumi.

Well that's because Nico can at least give Lewis a run for his money every now and then. In order to go near Schumi, Barrichello would've had to been in a position to consistently beat him which wasn't the case.

It is good to see Rosberg happy, but the way he celebrates is questionable. It's like he's celebrating getting one (or three) over Lewis, over his team mate who's now a three time world champion who has until recent utterly dominated nee humiliated Rosberg throughout the season. And there it is. This is the Rosberg that needs to show at every race in 2016 that is not a dead rubber.

Yeah his celebrations are a bit silly at times but it's all he's got and understandable where it's coming from given the fact Lewis sticks to him every chance he gets that he lost out on the championship yet again and that the solitary race wins don't matter e.g. today's post race press conference.

I do think the race stewards were secretly crash fans and miffed max avoided an accident with button so made sure he had the penalty.

Max's 2 choices were use the run off or have a crash with button.
He chose the sensible option and the fia wrapped him on the knuckles for it, probably because they wanted to teach the kid who is boss rather than any particular wrong doing

Still, max had obviously been watching the gp2 race with his passes into the hairpin before the drs straight. He seemed one thr only one that realised he'd get the benefit of the drs while being ahead so a pass in that corner was doubly worth it

Button too put on a tast pass around the outside of the chicane after the second drs zone (7 years of this track and I can't fucking remember any corner numbers or names  fuck this place) was so nice to see a mclaren looking somewhat racy.
Let's hope they can at least make some progress next season
