I also like it, will give a bigger sense of speed on the on boards coming down to the chicane.

It's made it more enclosed, almost like the tunnel's been extended. Wonder if they would actually buils anouther building over it.

Awesome to see how every inch of Monaco is transformed into living space.

Awesome? The coast is horribly disfigured. When you're standing on the Rocher near the prince's castle and have a panoramic view of Monte-Carlo, the buildings look dirty, butt-ugly and stacked on top of one another.

Disregard the harbour with yachts, and it looks like a freaking overcrowded third-world ghetto. Check the picture I posted in page 3 of the thread to see what I mean.

I do not like this new building, it kills the sharp tunnel exit from dark to open space that we used to have. The rear onboard cam will not be as impressive as before.

I only hope they can stack some cameras up there and give a nice top view of the chicane.

And yet, you loved Monaco.

The old city, the harbour, the gardens around the principality and the Frontvieille neighbourhood are nice. The description above mainly applies to Monte-Carlo, which is where the grand prix takes place.

Except around the casino, I didn't see many tourists around there except for the racing enthousiasts like me. Even the tourism office at the train station didn't recommend to visit it because of all the circuit installations

Guys, is there only one Formule Renault 3.5 race this weekend? Because the timetable Phil posted only shows one race, while their site indicates there will be 2 races.

I think it's tradition that FRenault only has one race but forgets to update their website to reflect that fact, therefore confusing fans!

Remember the one year we had GP2, World Series By Renault, Euro F3 and maybe another series all racing on the same weekend?

Was pretty epic tbh.

Imagine now we could have GP2, GP3, WSBR, AutoGP, British F3, Euro F3, F2, and whatever other open wheel series we could find for the best open wheel festival anywhere in the world!

I can dream, eh? ;)

Also in b4 "OMG I forgot Monaco practice was on a Thursday! I missed it! :("

Ah I looked at the Drivers Ranking, where you see all the results this season, and there are two columns for Monaco :). But thank you!

Thank you too for explaining me :). This is the first year I follow other series then F1 and GP2, so I didn't know there was only one race at Monaco :).

JEV's helmet is a tribute to Alesi as he cannot be at the Indy500 to support him. The two of them in earlier times

Exit of the tunnel doesn't actually look any different from the TV cameras.
