Jerez:
1. H. Kovalainen McLaren MP4-24 1:19.753 46
2. K. Nakajima Williams FW31 1:20.965 +1.212 61

seems like McLaren is slowly fixing its problems

TBH, having Nakajima in your car is a bigger problem than a few dodgy aerodynamics.

Is still behind Button's and Rosberg's times.

Just read things Barrichello said in a TV show. This is good stuff people:

About Mclaren: He said the problems are serious and in Rubens' opinion it will go on untill at least half of the season.

About BGP: He said that he, after been the fastest of the week, wanted to know the weight of the car and it's legality, and said he is glad that his lap was NOT a glory run.

Now this is what is really strong. Barrichello guaranteed that in the first 4 races Brawn GP won't be worst than 6th position, he didn't want to say they are certalinly faster than Ferrari and BMW, but there is a possibility. He also said the BGP did go for qualifying laps in Barcelona while he believes the opponents didn't. In all the years Rubens stayed in Ferrari he said they never showed the car full qualifying potencial in testings, so he is certain Ferrari and the others can at least get closer to them.

Ha.

I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren had removed the entire fuel cell before that lap and had run the engine on whatever remained in the feeder tube.

I think it's exaggerated by the comparitively poor time by Nakajima. Rosbergs fastest time from yesterday was 2 seconds faster than Nakajima's.

it has been reported that McLaren ran today with a modified diffuser and rear wing. Can someone put up a comparison image?
