Red Bull probably just reacted to cover Kimi pitting

If the undercut worked, then Max would've been 2nd in all likelyhood
If it didn't, at least they had Danny to keep a podium

As far as Red Bull knew they'd be releasing Max into clean air, having Bottas pit after and come out in front wasn't such a foregone conclusion that you could say they orchestrated Dan's overcut.

True, but Red Bull didn't literally alter the likely winner of the race. Nor does Red Bull have a lot of previous for this exact thing.
