The counter to that is that Sauber found themselves with a car in second and catching Alonso with, what was it, 25 laps to go?

It wouldn't be too hard for Ferrari to send a senior person down to the team to tell them what the score was.

They could even do it via text message if they wanted.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Watching the Race again and I think Perez move was that he was the first who pitted for Full Wets in the Top 10.

Yeh but that was not what I ment.

How would they have made the message clear to Sergio without raising suspicion at the FIA who listens to every radiocall? It had to be a coded message. But I doubt they have coded messages for these kind of exceptional circumstances.

Perez was simply amazing but I think Alonso drove one of his best races to be honest. Both men equally deserve much credit for there drives today though. Don't forget Senna as well who was last at the end of lap 1 and finished 6th. It's so deserving for a Williams team who have gone leaps and bounds from where they were last year! Fantastic race.

They can use telephones or just walk into the garage. Jean Todt walked a lot through the pitlane back in the days!

Like I said, I'm talking about the message to Sergio.

Not sure the message "be carefull, we need this position" would be enough to stop Sergio battling for the win.

Which is where inducing the mistake would come in, in theory.

Would also explain his slowing down after the error. 'Sergio, slow right down, you nearly parked it once already.'

Also, having to rely on the useless SkyF1 team for the whole race, what happened to Kobayashi?

don't they bring 84 people with them to a race? You'd imagine it being the best and most knowledgeable tv crew in the paddock, no?

His retirement? Fuck knows.

General lack of performance? Dodgy set-up caused by a broken suspension piece in qualifying, compounded by traffic in the race and burning the inters too quickly. Shoddy weekend.

Everybody just fuck right off with this conspiracy theory shit....if anyone would have said that they would be hunting down a Ferrari for a win they would have laughed at them. THEY DO need those points. To throw that away in a stupid overtaking move against a guy like Fernando who would have been saying to himself "This Ferrari is a piece of shit and this is my only realistic chance at a victory in the near future....you are gonna have to earn it Perez" is just mind numbingly stupid.

Going out of Turn 14 is not the place where you want to make a mistake intentionally, because the turn is very hard to take off the ideal line, and gravel is nearest, few meteres and Sergio would have been the thrid driver to retire from todays race... If he wanted to do it intentionally,he could just run wide in turn 4.

Bit of a pickle Narain's in isn't it? Or maybe Vettel's just being a dill.
