Now that would have been a proper Senna-like behaviour. Vettel is nowhere near it ;)

If Mark opts to stay in F1 in 2014 and leaves Red Bull. He might have hard time finding competitive ride. McLaren and Mercedes drivers are signed for 2014. Ferrari might keep Massa given his recent performance. Questions still remain whether Lotus financially stable. Looking back he should've signed with Ferrari last May. Truth be told. Mark is better off staying at Red Bull.

Webber at Ferrari would be owned even more by Alonso than he has been by Vettel at Red Bull is my view.

Excactly! At Red Bull he will be treated much fairer then he would at Ferrari.

Considering Massa is holding his own against Alonso I think Webber would do fine.

I was gonna say. Webber is definately not a worse driver than Massa, and according to some members on this forum, Massa is outclassing Alonso at the moment so I don't see why Webber would be humiliated by Alonso.

Bild reports, according to F1today.nl, that Webber will leave RBR after this season.

That is certainly interesting. If that turns out to be true, I wonder where he'll get a seat? Lotus if Grosjean doesn't up his game or if Kimi is out of there for some reason after the season? Can't see any other top seats available for him, and I can't see any other driver from the top teams going to Red Bull either.

maybe Kimi to Red Bull would be interesting, Newey knows him from McLaren years and we might get rid of the same jokes Lotus has been playing in the last months

Kimi doesn't really fit with the red Bull image though.

Wut? He was sponsored by Red Bull in his rally carreer. He fits perfectly with the Red Bull image.

But an astute Vodka manufacturer could jump on a golden marketing opportunity by aligning themselves with Kimi driving a Red Bull.

No, just no. Team orders have been used at all stages of seasons since F1 began. Horner cannot be criticized for using team orders.

Especially with the drivers he has.

Webbers a better driver than Massa, but if he's going to leave Red Bull because he feels the team does not support him as much as Seb, then he's never going to go to Ferrari. But maybe if McLaren isn't working out then Jenson or Sergio will move somewhere and he could have a seat there. If equality is such a big thing for him and he believes Red Bull are against him (frankly I think this weekend proves otherwise, they wanted Mark to win) then Ferrari is the worst case scenario.

Perhaps I could've explained better in my post earlier. I might be wrong but Alonso comes across to me as a Prost type of character. A mixer, goes behind peoples backs, etc. That's sort of what I meant.

Red Bull may not have caused Vettel's actions, but their lack of balls in handling it is why Mark would leave - it's a clear illustration that despite their claims neither driver is favoured, when it comes to the crunch Vettel won't be punished no matter what he does. And even if you feel like your team supports you, you can't work somewhere where you don't trust your teammate at all if there's an expectation for you to both follow team orders. Maybe a young guy with a lot to prove wouldn't mind that, but Webber's past that sort of attitude.
