If positions would've been reversed, Massa leading championship by 8pts with Lewis 2nd, and Lewis made that move on Seabass resulting in a spin and Seabass getting a penalty; no one would say ONE.SINGLE.WORD. But because it's Ferrari then it's obviously favouritism from the FiA. and that is clear like the sky without clouds....

I normally don't even notice the coverage, but this was utterly fucking terrible. I took 2 laps to understand whether Alonso had been released out of the pits ahead of Kubica or not, and that was by looking at live timing - the TV director prefered to focus on Trulli's irrelevant temporary lead, or a too late shot of Massa having just passed some slow car.

Also, how many times do you need to show the exact same replay of the Massa-Hamilton collision, 20 laps after it happened?

1.

Commentators didnt help, they showed Kubi behind Alonso and they still took some 3 laps to figure out where he was.

Webber gave Massa just enough room along the pit wall, but as soon as the pit wall ended he pushed Massa further over into the pit exit, which is a bit dodgy - if they'd been a car emerging from the pits at that moment, it would have been a massive crash.

Thanks for the Massa onboard, looks like one of the Toyotas also went deep into turn 1 and almost hit Massa, so it wasn't just the Mclarens who braked too late.

Interesting onboard from Massa. I'm not surprised Lewis went off twice, I suspected he had because I noticed he came out of turn 1 in 3rd and then somehow fell to 6th. He really was driving like a hot-head on the first lap.

I didn't know just how wide Kovalainen had gone though, he must've been even later on the brakes than Lewis.

Is there a Bourdais onboard anywhere of the incident with Massa? Or even an onboard with Massa?

Dunno about anyone else but I am getting so frustrated with Hamilton. Even as an Englishman. I was so pleased to see Fernando win again today.

Lewis keep coming out with these somewhat "lavish" statements and then goes and does the completely opposite.

I am getting to the point where I want Massa to win the title now, or even Kubica lo!

Considering how stupid both Massa (Ferrari) and Hamilton have been lately, I'd join in on Kubica being WDC, now if only BMW got off their ass and started backing the right horse...

Bourdais penalty = absolute garbage, it was at the very least a racing incident. How convenient they left it all the way to the end of the race (20 freaking minutes to solve the matter) to hand out a penalty that is unappealable, as proven by Hamilton's case earlier. Surely speaks volumes...

The only person that can win the championship and not take that honor is Kubica really, but even then it's like WHAT.

7 - season average rating once again, much better than some races in Spain, but not good like wet races and Canadian GP

I guess Japan has a great potential for good races (in opposition to races in Spain), but that track is owned by Toyota, so, let's wait to see a race at Suzuka once again

Piquet - earned a lot of places during the race and managed to gather important points that can keep his job

6 - I'm not fully able to watch in a HD picture to judge if it was good, but at least this year they didn't stood showing their beloved cars instead of the position changes

Another one for Piquet here, mainly as he is under so much pressure at the moment. Great drive.

Alonso was superb, though.

Only previous time when I can recall driver getting penalty for forcing another driver off the track (without touching) is Villeneuve at Suzuka 2005 in Montoya's accident. Jacques went straight in the last chicane and Montoya went to overtake him outside in the last corner, they were side-by-side and then Montoya ran out of track and had quite a heavy crash.

I would be happy for Hamilton to take it. I love all this constant driver vs driver bitching, arrogant interviews and continuous shit talking, it makes the sport much more interesting.

Harsh. He's a very quick driver

Damon Hill, I mean
