Dat new car. Pity, I wanted to see Ricciardo out qualify him again on genuine pace ;)

Hamilton could have rear-ended him there

That's a nice line-up behind Lewis and Nico

Meh, with that gap there is no way Red Bull could catch up this season....

Kimi's hangover is left behind. Be aware, nando!

Groj impressive, that car definitely has potential. Good to see kimi quick but I still think alonso is on another level come race day.

Are people still doubtful about Grosjean's potential? He's one of the best drivers now.

People have been doubting the car, not grosjean.

Congratulations Richelmi, Palmer and Coletti for outqualifying Chilton
Congratulations Marciello, Nasr, Evans, Leal, Rossi, Ellinas, Vandoorne and Haryanto for outqualifying Bianchi
Finally, congrats Dillmann and Pic for outqualifying Ericsson and Kobayashi

GP2 car => same weight as 2014 F1, no DRS and 500HP versus F1's max power of 800HP

Really happy for Grosjean to get a good result with this car. He came so good at the end of last season, it's good for him to get a boost like this before any of that confidence and good form dropped.

Spanish TV not happy with Nando's showing. BOTTAS did good. Important for Lewis to not lose out in Qually after dominating the weekend so far.

These kinds of comments are so massively misguided...

F1 - brand new rules set which gave teams little time for R&D prior to it's launch for 2014 and with 11 individually designed and built chassis, where each team has only 2-3 drivers feeding into car performance and development.

GP2 - 20'ish identical cars provided by a single constructor developed over a 3'ish year period with feedback for R&D from 10+ teams and 30-40+ drivers.
