Does anybody know which support series races/sessions are going to have live coverage on Australian TV?

They should all have close to live coverage. I mean, outside of F1, there really is only 3 other racing support series (V8's, Porsche and barely a Celebrity Challenge). All other on track events are demo's.

For the Oz GP, that is absolutely pathetic. It is usually chock full of support races.

Didn't they used to have Aussie F3 and F5000's a while back?

While I'm hyped for the F1 race, I'm even more excited for the 4 V8 races.

They have F5000 most years, haven't had F3 in a while. In the past they've had the Aussie Racing Cars, Aussie GT, Australian Production Cars even Formula Ford. It's very sad this year that aside from the V8's, there is only really the Porsche's (which rarely produce any decent racing) and then demonstrations.

If I was to hazard a guess, entry fees for these series have gone up since they dropped the ticket prices. They just can't afford it anymore.

I know for a fact that the entry fees have gone up and in doing so have turned away a lot of series, so sad.

Yep, my girlfriend's brother in law usually runs the historics on GP weekend but with the ridiculous price of entry and the regular occurrence of having your event canceled if an F1 session gets pushed back (last year's qualifying), it's nowhere near worth it now.

That's pretty sweet!

But is that the flag of Abu Dhabi? Don't think their country will produce the 2014 champion..

That's probably a joke - usually when they're testing the systems on a Thursday they give lots of penalties to Hamilton :p

Nice background though, last year it was slightly different. A shame it'll be gone by Sunday.

agreed with that. Also, shame about the digital flags. Nothing beats a waving flag.

I've written a race/season preview. I get paid depending on how many hits I get so I'd appreciate it if you gave it a click, even if you think it's terrible. Cheers

there are various opinions on where Ferrari stand at this time. I can only hope that pre-season testing was like what they did in 2004.

That drive from Stefan in the Onyx was fantastic. He obviously benefitted from Mansell and Senna colliding, but he still finished ahead of several better cars, and was comfortably on the lead lap. His team mate didn't even Pre-Qualify.
