So Maldonado gets a +10 grid penalty for Silverstone, Vergne a +5.

Yes! Kobayashi also received a 5 position penalty.

10 place penalty + 25000 Euro fine for Vergne.

Harsh penalty.

No! Dumb and silly "mistake" by him. He fucked a lot of drives races.

He couldn't knew his bodywork exploded when he drove back at the pits...
Ofcourse it was his mistake, but why have the stewards give penalty's for all incidents during a race? It's racing!! Then it's possible that drivers hit each other. 10 grid penalty is very harsh. If Vergne could go ahead in the race, he probably would had a 10s stop/go penalty, or a time penalty after the race, like Maldonado. The way the stewards give penalty during or after a race is real unfair.

Yes, very harsh. A 6-place penalty would have been enough to move him to 24th spot on the grid. A 10 place penalty is just rubbing it in.

How is it possible that Maldonado got a penalty from that? And not actually a one penalty, but two penalties from single incident, which I would have put as 50/50 incident.

Pastor screwed his own race there, but so did Lewis, not very bright move from either Hamilton or Maldonado. Pastor would have got Hamilton on the next lap for sure, so he was impatient. And Hamilton was not thinking about how many points he would get from 4th position, which was still in his hands. It was a difference of 3 points for both of them, now they lost at least 12 points both.

It would have been fair to give warning for both of them, now Pastor got 20s penalty and a grid penalty for Silverstone. That's a bullshit call, no matter how you see the situation.

Pastor does not have a grid drop for Silverstone.

That was an awesome race. I was super excited when Vettel blew up, I thought it would be Grosjeans for the taking, but then he had the same issue. :(

Also just noticed that Kobayashi seemed intent on eliminating the Brazilian contingent from the event.

Really? The news said he did get +20s and a grid penalty? Then it's ok, I guess. Williams still scores that one point, so it was Lewis and Pastor who throw out their race today.
