Perez decision: 5 place grid penalty. Failed to slow down under double yellow. + 3 grid places for overtaking under yellow

Wonder why they could not take this decision between Q2 and Q3.

Yeah, Bottas would have got into Q3 and could have started higher then 10th.

Was thinking with how outspoken and temperamental Grosjean has been in his discussions about the car that Haas might have had enough and he might get the boot. Am I alone in this thinking?

No, I went there couple races ago but got shot by the regular visitors here.

Don't forget the guy went out his way to employ Kurt Busch, so I should think Roman's outbursts are nothing by comparison.

But F1 isn't NASCAR. And I stand firm by my believes a F1 driver should stand by his crew and only put up his critics during briefing. I cannot believe a team like Ferrari would pick up a Grosjean with the current attitude.

I think they didn't want to make the decision without hearing Perez's view on the situation. So there would have been further delay in the qualifying.

For Bottas though, yes he lost chance to higher position but now he is 10th on the grid with free tyre choice which isn't bad thing.

Grosjean has a connection issue, might have to start from the pits.

Somehow I have a feeling Kvyat or Verstappen will cause some drama at the start and Kimi might be involved in.

*Hopefully I jinxed it*
