In 3 weeks I'll announce that it all was a joke and we are actually looking for the lowest scores after all

That would be very suitable if this was about Nascar :p

The US Grand Prix was the best of the year so far. And 8 cars retired, causing the order to shuffle a bit. You couldn't go wrong with a Williams or Raikkonen this time.
Vettel was picked the most, unfortunately he made it to the end and finished on the podium again. You should have kept him for Mexico, guys.

At the top nothing changed, as it was clear ahead of this race that Bleu and F1Peter both picked Raikkonen. As if you didn't already have enough points guys :p

To Mexico again. Good crowd, bad race.

We have a new second place! Bleu made a tactical error by picking Rosberg, the winner. But pimmy chose Alonso, who retired after only one lap. The difference could not have been bigger! Because of that, pimmy jumps over Bleu and is suddenly not far away from F1Peter in first place. I thought it was all over but this could still be good till the end. Especially as I still have to calculate the average scores to fill in for Germany.

Plenty to happen in the midfield as well, as three members are tight on 188 and places 6 to 13 are separated by only 4 points.

Special mention for Soul Reaver, who also picked Alonso and for the first time got some decent points! He's still last but he seems happy with it.

I'm going to wait a bit to see what happens with Massa and the appeal.

Oh boy, I got Massa for Brazil. Still, nice to see that something is working on the logic of the pics for everybody, as I'm low and everyone else is actually higher than me as intended....

Right. Brafail. I'm not going to comment on the race, you all saw what happened except for those who fell asleep.

High scores in this race. 3 of you picked Sainz, who was first to retire after only 5 corners. 19 points for pimmy, Omega (that's me!!!) ans Stunky.
Sainz was the only official retirement, which meant that the Manor cars were good for high scores as well.
But, and this is spooky, Massa was picked most with 4 times and earned the most points for his DQ after the race. It's like some of you knew it already 9 months ago. I could give him 0 points, 8 points because that's where he finished, or 20 points for being last in the classification. I took the last, because.

The results after the Brazilian GP:

Early leader and longtime second placed Bleu is dropping away. But at the top it is getting really close between F1Peter and pimmy! This could be good!

238 F1Peter
232 pimmy
212 dicksplaash
208 kals
207 Bleu
206 asshat
205 Tobias
201 viXious
200 StanV
197 LucasWheldon
194 Fish88
192 maclauren
191 Mäth
191 Omega
186 thedoctor46

I have an announcement to make. I have calculated the scores for Germany. I did so by taking every result before the German GP, and calculating the average. And it has shuffeled everything.

Because...

WE HAVE A NEW LEADER!!!

248 pimmy
240 F1Peter
219 dicksplaash
216 StanV
212 Tobias
211 viXious
210 kals
209 Bleu
208 asshat
208 Omega
204 maclauren
199 LucasWheldon
197 Fish88
196 thedoctor46
193 Mäth
189 De Cesaris fan
187 Beezle
187 WilliamsF1 (pen)
186 acopip
173 Soul Reaver
172 Stunky (pen)
159 Vassago (pen)
156 Toto87 (pen)

Pimmy had Mehri (+16) for Germany, where F1Peter had Hamilton (+2).

With one race to go, we can all watch and hope for many retirements. It will be the only way to get a bit of action on the track.

Well shit. Massa helped me out a bunch in Brazil but picking Rosberg for Germany sent me crashing back down haha.

My tactic of picking drivers for their home race didn't quite pay off!

Come on Renault, don't let me down by not letting Ricciardo down again.

You went up and down like a Webber in Valencia.
