Lotus are really getting close to the rest of the field.

Virgin a second slower and HRT another second.

Mann those were some really boring sessions - almost nothing happening....
Hope race day will turn it around just like the previous 4 races

Hamilton has called Pirelli's new Hard compound A disaster:
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/91529

I think the problem has been that in the 1st races the Hard compound has been slower but not much more durable than the soft's. This new compound (Which was tested in practice at Istanbul) was supposed to still be slower than the soft but more durable to encourage different strategies.

According to Will Buxton's twitter, Pirelli believe this new tyre is 10 laps more durable than the soft's.

If Pirelli were trialling this compound in Turkey, why did no-one spot the problem then?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Exactly, they need to shut up and race. Tyres are the same for everyone.

Pirelli say some teams are projecting two stops, some three and some four.

I expect mainly 2 stops but Hamilton will 3 stop. He hates the hard tyre and the big lap time difference could leave him to a soft-hard-soft-soft stint

Ben Constanduros isn't happy

"Still seething from having everything stolen from outside our hotel. Can't believe it. The track is in a pikey, smelly shit hole."

Edit: I say know, is really "knew" now though.

Big differences between hard and soft tyres will be crucial in qualifying. All top teams will have to use softs in Q2 and probably Q1, after what happened to Webber in China. Could be bad news for HRT.
