It's a big big miracle. I've never seen a crash like that. He has a very good star with him.

Francois Cevert would have loved to have Grojeans halo. 100% lifesaver here.

Never mind the 70s, that would've been fatal about 5 years ago

Could have been a fatal today, fatal tomorrow or fatal next year. It been inches that saved him.

That's worst F1 crash I've seen. Kubica 2007 was the most terrible so far.
I'd like to see a full hour long documentary of rescue operation and aftermath some day.

Well, and quite frankly it was Grosjean's fault 100%. Why he cut across Kvyat is beyond me.

My god, that cockpit shot. It’s imbedded in the barrier. Thank heaven safety has come so far

No halo there and Grosjean would have the same ending as Helmuth Könnigg

I'm still shaking.

That man should be dead right now.

I think it's time the halo 'debate' is permanently ended. Grosjean gets one free punch on anyone who brings it up again.

I'm not actually sure how he managed to climb out - the top rail of the armco appeared to be wedged directly over the cockpit.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

How on earth did that rail cut the car in half, that's the big question here. This shouldn't happen, right?

Last time I witnessed something similar with a firebal was Imola 1989 with Berger.

I feel weird... Never thought that I would ever witness such an event in F1.

He was very, very lucky
