Dunno if someone's posted this already but according to a finnish newspaper, Raikkonen has signed for Williams.

And according to a certain Taki Inoue:

Quote:
Raikkonen, Williams determined next year! The only story here!

The Finnish media quoted Taki, who has several connections apparently.

Potential layout, according to Joe Saward

reminds me to canada

Just had a look on street view, and one section in particular excites me. Its following a 90 degree right hander, there is a fast downhill section, including a long sweeping left hander. Certainly wouldnt like to go down there in the wet in an F1 car

Providing the direction is clockwise on your map.....
Certainly wonder if the place is going to get tidied up, as it looks a bit overgrown.

It is the new maximium height the nosecone has to have in order to increase safety during a t-bone crash for instance. This is a solution the FIA has come up with especially after the Schumacher/Liuzzi crash at Abu Dhabi last year.

So by 2014:
- Australia
- Monaco
- Montreal
- Valencia
- Singapore
- New York
- Sochi

Getting a bit tired of street tracks :/

Still, surely another race has to drop off the calendar. Ciao Valencia, hopefully.

So it starts June 2013 - I guess the week after Montreal, like Indy was from 2004-7

Basically yes.
Wow I just can't wait for this. Layout looks like a lot of fun with the skyline of Manhattan in the backround.

Looked at the layout again. Looks as if Sao Paolo (the Indy Car track) and Macau made love and ended up in NYC

I have a small suspicion that that won't be the final layout.
