Even their medium is too soft for circuits with long and fast corners as these put too much heat in a tire The medium is not even bringing much better performance than the hards around here(and these hards are harder than what was used in previous 2013 GPs). Only in S3 that I noticed a big improvement(due to the slow chicane) while watching. Artur Craft wrote: RtN wrote: I see that McLaren have made huge progress... If they solved their correlation problems, that will be a very good improvement already as all other ones will rely on that Well, Mclaren can improve latter in the season if the correlation is really much better now as said there |

It could just be Force India were too aggressive on the suspension setup though. |

ellis wrote: It could just be Force India were too aggressive on the suspension setup though. If it happened only on Paul's car and not on any other of the remaining 21, then it probably was something like that. However, even if a team choose a more aggressive setup, it can't tear the tread like that. The compounds are really too soft, we didn't hear treads tearing in Barcelona's winter testing because it was colder(specially track temps as air temp are still low there). The state of the tread in some of the slow-mo's that FOM showed of Red Bull and Mercedes were alarming. In one of them, Rosberg's front left had it's internal shoulder destroyed. Another shot showed the same thing with Webber but also somewhat of a small shred close to it. It will not be surprising if this repeat in the race in some other car(s), going by that, imo PS: Maybe Echti will upload some of those nice shots, for those who missed it |

Alonso accused of attacking a photographer. Not sure how true that is, or whether it's been posted already. http://www.crash.net/f1/news/191032/1/a ... apher.html |

Quote: Jordi Martin tried to take pictures of the Spaniard and his model girlfriend, Dasha Kaputsina as they returned to their hotel. I think I would have done the same tbh |

The photographer was probably all "You ain't seen me, right?" and Alonso was probably all "I'm a little bit wooooaarghhh, I'm a little bit weeeeeeyyyyy a little bit pssssshhhhwwwwwwaaaaaaasssshhhhwwwwaaaaaa, I AM A GEEZER!" His GF was probably all "Can any of you....actually hear me?" We're still doing this, right? |
