Can Merc do a full powerplant replacement now since he'll be at the back anyway?

He'll only be at the back for today's race, I think? So any extra replacements would still penalise him tomorrow. Might only be the difference between about 15th and 20th though, depending on how far he gets up today.

(all this assuming he's DSQ'd)

If I was him and got DSQ outright, I would change everything and start the sprint from the pits and do installation laps just for the setup and working racing setup

He's already got the 5 place drop and there's not enough time to probably get much into the top ten.

This drama is too exciting. Batshit insane season and it's not backing down one notch.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

By the way, how come this was only on Hamiltons car and not on Bottas?

so... any conspiracy made by FIA and Liberty to "spice" sprint race and make it a fan favourite after 2 boring tries?

Because they probably messed it up on Lewis’ car only.

Not gonna lie. I’m probably gonna watch it despite claiming earlier I would boycott the sprint races

The thought did cross my cynical mind when I read about it this morning, but if they were going to do this they needed to send both of them to the back.

So Hamilton starts last, and as i heard no mater how manny places he makes up today in sprint he will get tomorrow the 5 places for engine added.
Man what a monutain to climb, hope he gets top5 result in the end.
But according to sprint history this year, whenever there was a sprint race they crashed on sunday. So im counting they will make it 3 out of 3 tomorrow

Watch as Bottas... does nothing even remotely aggressive to attack the Red Bulls in any way.
