Next year this race will be part of the national Production Car Series. In the past the 12 Hours and 6 Hours were either state-level or standalone events:

The provisional entry list has been released and there's already 55 cars on it (with 31 of them being in the A and B classes), with entries not closing until next March. Most notably the team that won last year's race will be entering a Focus RS in the main class, while there will also be an Audi TTRS and Falcon GT-F in that class along with the usual suspects, with the Mercedes that was very quick in the early stages of last year having confirmed their intention to compete (but not on their entry form):

The entry list has increased to 67, with more pending. There are now 22 cars in the main outright class (A1), with a further 16 cars split between the other A and B classes:

So, cars are on track as I type.

It seems only Race Day will be streamed this year (less than last year? :? ) but there's live timing to squint at and social media posts to see.

The BMW M4 looks to be the fastest car there, though this weekend will be it's first race I think so it is an unknown quantity. The Evos are up there as are the 1-series BMWs, the A45 Mercedeses and the Audi TT, though the Baird/Walden AMG blew a turbo in the first practice which will set them back a bit. Mostert's Focus RS looks fast as does the FPV Falcon, so they will provide a Ford challenge. Last year's winning BMW is pretty much even with a naturally aspirated VF Commodore as the fastest B class cars and they're not that far off the leaders either.

These guys aren't pushing anywhere near as hard as they could, although that is understandable considering the pricelessness of what they're driving.
