The #45 Merc is in the garage! That was one of the leading cars in the race.

Now the Danny Stutterd/Steve Owen Evo Lancer has crashed at the Chase after what looks like a brake issue. That's another former race leader in big trouble. Safety car is out with a tad less then 2 hours to go.

With one hour to go the M3 and M4 BMW are looking like they will win if they don't have a problem. Only two of the Mercedes (the #6 Salmon/Burgess car and Stevie Johnson's #29), the American BMW and Jordan Cox's Mitsi Lancer really look particuarly competitive at this point.

The #45 Merc just got back on the lead lap. The M4 is back on track after getting a drive-through.

Garth Walden just pitted and lost the lead lap. It was Brian Walden whose Commodore lost drive on the run up the hill, bringing out the SC. 30 minutes to go.
