Battle for the lead is now on between Mostert/Morcom Focus and the Searle/Morris BMW 1-series.

Holy hell, Mostert just did an SVG, he passed the RX-8 with almost all four wheels on the grass at the second left hander at Reid Park. I've never seen that done before.

Holy shit, Baird's car is engulfed in flames. SC is out with 20 minutes to go.

That is possibly (no hyperbole) the biggest engine failure I've ever seen live.

Mostert's car looks to have lost a lot of speed with only a few minutes to go, and the BMW has gotten by them.

Paul Morris has just become the first person to win the Bathurst 1000, the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 6 Hour. Mostert took 2nd in the end.

The provisional entry list for the Bathurst 6 Hour has been released, and it already has 60 cars. The biggest news is probably that a current-gen BMW M3 will be competing and entered by long-time production racer Beric Lynton, which should give the very fast Sherrin BMW M4 a challenge.

Final entry list for the 6 Hour here. The race will be shown live on Foxtel in Australia too, though there will still fortunately be a stream for the internationals.
