It is Wickens' Hyundai.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

From one of the locals I read it wasn’t that bad of a crash. Annoying thing is you’ll never know thanks to the Nurburgring ‘positive media policy’, which means they won’t show crashes and delete any new amateur videos from YouTube. In that regard this organisation is the worst. I firmly believe in open communication, which prevents speculation like this

More importantly, I hope he indeed is OK!!

I noticed that they always cut the heli cam shot just before Tiergarten. Hopefully Wickens is okay, even a light crash can mess him up.

#4 wins, the #3 retired in the last lap, apparently due to contact damage with the #16.

Good to hear.

So if there's official footage, any chance of releasing it?
As an archivist I always hate today's tendency to censor the footage. Because if the race happens to end before the "ok sign", and the next round is in 2 months (like in some GT series), do you think they will show replays then? No. So even if there would be official footage, it's permanently forgotten. Then we can only hope for some amateur footage.

Oh ok now I see that car.
I thought that you Gaara were talking about tyre damage OUTSIDE the track, not that standard inside ones.

But looking at position of all stuff outside the track and catchfence, it looks like it was some weird air style flip like Patrick Carpentier or Gonzalo Rodríguez from Laguna

In race 2, the 27 Lambo braked so hard into Tiergarten so he didn't need to do another lap that he lost the win by 0.042 to the 911.
