Poor Ash Walsh, another big crash for him.

Race suspended.

Looking at the replay, the marshals booth only starts waving the yellows after the Merc comes through a full 10 seconds later.

Flag didn't go up until after the Merc went through.

The three cars/drivers in that awful smash were Bryce Fullwood (#95 MARC car), Ash Walsh (#69 Audi GT3) and John Martin (#19 Merc GT3). Walsh and Fullwood went in first, Martin then smashed heavily into Walsh's stopped car.

Race over.

Amazed they could all get out of those cars under their own power.

That was the quickest award ceremony I've ever witnessed. :-o

So Leonard, Frijns and Vanthoor are the winners. Would’ve liked to have seen if they could have made it to the end without a stoppage but that’s what happens in racing.

Went to bed with a couple hours left. Just couldn't stay up anymore and I figured it was basically over. That was a mistake.

Horrible wreck to end it. Glad they all got out OK. Boy that's a notorious part of the track.

It's really not an area you can afford to have inattentive marshals at.

That is a formidable partnership and a nice throwback livery as well.

The entry list has been released for 2019 with 43 cars. Overall the entry is down somewhat from last years but the outright GT3 class hasn't diminished noticeably with 28 entries from 10 manufacturers.
