One of my friends Jono Lester could be racing in the series next year, he's been competing in the Super Taikyu Series this season in a Petronas Mercedes SLS GT, one of his team mates is Masataka Yanagida and Jono has been just as quick, so watch this space!

Mooncraft will be running an MP4-12C GT3 car in GT300 next year. Still running the Evangelion sponsorship, but the car has "EVA RT PROTO 00" decals on the front fenders, as opposed to the EVA-01 livery they had last year. Look up the decals on google to see the significance of this with the car they're running.

Team Cars Tokai Dream 28 will be running an MP4-12C as well.

Team Arnage(which is the maintenance garage for the old A-Speed team will be running the old A-Speed Aston Martin.

Alpina B6 potentially will be running in GT300 as well.

All Lexus GT500 teams aside from Bandoh will run on Bridgestone tires, and Bandoh will not be allowed to run the current aero parts.

Team KeePer Kraft closes down its GT500 operations.

It may continue racing in GT300.

Oh sorry, it's hard to see my sarcasm from behind a computer. Can only hope this series retains its identity, coz they put on the best GT racing in the world.

I wish the New American Series was a direct copy of Super GT...just with Camaro/Mustang/Challenger based cars for GT500.

America and NASCAR are too cheap for that to ever be a possibility. Gone are the days where we are forerunners at the cutting edge of technology in all aspects. The Germans and Japanese have cornered the market there. :sigh:

Oh I don't give a shit what the cars are like underneath. Hell, make them tubers for all I care, just get the performance and look right and we're golden.

The rear of the Cadillac is the ugliest rear end of a modern racing car I have ever seen. Those taillights are just ridiculous.

They could have used the World Challenge CTS and go from there.
