How that commentator can see a car flying through the air after hitting a tyre barrier hard and not only not sound excited but actually seemingly deliberately sound more boring as a result is one of the worst bits of commentating I've ever heard
This is the same guy on RLM that's way more interested in the facts and statistics than anything exciting happening on track isn't it?
In the video it is Bruce Jones who is also an RLM guy or has been in the past but I don't think he is the statistics guy you mean.
Maybe you're over-analyzing this. Might have been watching at timing screen and then only saw a glilpse of the crash before camera view changed.
