Never seen an endurance race where the clock counts UP before, but I guess everyone knows how long the race is, so what does it matter

Do those big winged prototypes have DRS? Can they activate it on any straight long enough?

Honestly the clock counting up does throw me off now and then. Why can't they just do like everyone else.

Yeah they have DRS, just don't know the rules in regard to using it since the car in front can use it too.

Until the last hour, then it counts down.

I was waiting to see if I'd missed a huge mess somewhere

Feels like we've lost less time than if they had to recover under SC though, I wonder if they were testing that?

Turns out, Marshals can get the job done quicker when they don't have to worry about cars coming by not obeying yellow flags/the noise from the engines etc....

You might lose less time from the race with a red, but it takes a lot of time out of the schedule overall. That's reason the safety car exists.

I wish WEC would make a visit down under in this period of the year, instead of touring the desert.

Maybe Highlands Motorsport Park isn't up to the required standards, but The Bend is, I think.
