Its a very sad weekend here in Argentina, Argentina motorsport must be one of most people attend to races, and every town wants to have a race, and with $$$ in the middle they got it, even that they circuits aren´t in conditions to hold races. I dislike TC mainly because all the sponsors prefere to put money in that old cars (Alan Menu call it the Flinstones), than to support a Argentina F1 prospect,(that why we dont have a driver in F1 for a decade).TC 2000 is more safety and the most competitive series, but the media and the people prefere Turismo Carretera

Exactly my thoughts. Again, it wasn't that hard an impact, but the car was completely destroyed. :(

RIP.

I don't want to sit here and judge the drivers on why they were approaching the accident so fast, but all seemed a little unfortunate. Maybe they just assumed the yellow flags were for the first car that was off. RIP :(

As easily predicted, World GT championship goes GT3 for 2012.

When is Ratel going to get past this retarded "fixed grid size" idea?

When FIA stops making it one of the conditions to get the "World Championship"-status.

I think they have, but maybe the rules differ from series to series, not sure. I do remember the long negotiations needed to get the F1-grid expanded to 24, they needed an official FIA-approval for that.

In World GT's case they have this fixed amount of constructors (6) with two teams each (4) which makes 6*4 => 24. Which is also the reason why Maserati and Vitaphone dropped out in 2011, because Vitaphone would've been the only one entering Maserati's, which would result in scoring no points for the championship so being basically useless.
