I know it's about 2 months early, but this looks to be one of the biggest and closest editions ever. And it's a bit stupid to be discussing it in a "random" discussion thread. Really making a statement towards being "the" GT 24 Hours. It's also round 3 of the Blancpain Endurance Series, but there'll be loads of guests. To be honest I lost interest when GT1 was kicked out. Also on holiday BTW, are there any good races in Barcelona in the first weeks of August? |

Kicking out GT1 is one of the few good things they have done, barely any teams were interested in doing GT1 anymore, especially at Spa. We had like 4 candidates for the win, now at least 15-20. Added another couple of cars btw, including a Mustang, Ginetta and a Viper |

MASSIVE entry-list update, as the organisation have released the official one (which was weird, because they usually only do that about 2 weeks ahead). I couldn't believe what I saw 70 cars + 8 on a waiting list, because 70 is the maximum capacity Spa can handle. Some strong rumours from the Spa-paddock last weekend (which saw a couple of teams preparing for the race) 4 Vitaphone (Vita4One) Ferrari's, including a car for Bruni-Fisichella-TBA and one for Van de Poele-Bertolini-TBA. Mika Salo is rumoured to be the third guy on the MS Mercedes of Kumpen-Hezemans, and BMW is rumoured to be sending Jörg Müller and Andy Priaulx over for one of the Schubert Z4's. If all of this is true, pretty amazing. Also, the cars on the "waiting" list apparantely are not there because there's no more space left, it's just because they haven't paid their entry fee yet. So that means we might get to about 80 cars |

I wouldn't be so sure of that, he stepped in on the Belgian MadCroc Corvette for 3 raceweekends in last year's GT1 World Championship, for example. Also: MS Racing has been renamed to 'Racing Team Holland' for this race |
