Got taken to the hospital for a check-up, neck and back pain but nothing worse luckily. Chassis is a write-off though, but they'll be in possession of a new one for the race.

No, they put an offer to the organizers but the organizers told them their services were not required.

I've sent them an email asking them about that a while ago, but didn't get a response. Heard the same as Brendan, but wanted to know for sure.

Horn Motorsport is planning to enter their SLS with Bernd Schneider, Stéphane Sarrazin and Sascha Bert. That would be pretty fucking awesome.

Usually the road adjacent to the circuit is blocked by the police between Les Combes and Ster roundabout (behind the old grandstand) on sat/sun. I suggest parking / camping at Les Combes as you're really close to the circuit there. Parking around the S/F area can be miles away. And it's an easier getaway from there sunday afternoon as you only have a few cars around there. Most of the folk is somewhere at the S/F area heading to exit #10 to get home
You have to take the exit #11 Malmédy and you'll drive a part of the old track. Do yourself a favour and discover all of it. Might be a bit of a detour if you're heading towards Northrhine Westfalia, but it's great if you're heading towards Rhineland Palatine

Most likely sat/sun. Couldn't get some days off work to do the full 24 hours, but I have to admit the race attracts me a lot less than the GT1 did to watch all practice sessions. The race itself will be a cracker though.

It's just that there aren't any Murcielago R-GT around were one would stay behind the armco at the Karting exiting Stavelot just to enjoy that V12...

That came straight from John Hindhaugh a few weeks ago on Midweek Motorsport, so I'd say that's knowing for sure. :p

ah, so the Ster entry won't be accesable at all on saturday morning? Especially P3?

Image
thanks to Stijn

That kinda sucks, hoped to get a parking spot there (parked there for the Spa 1000KM), especially since they seem to have "proper" toilets around that area, I'm not going to use the campsite loo's again :yuk:
But I'm also familiar with the campsite around Les Combes/Malmedy, got a parking spot there for the F1 GP last year and there wasn't that much traffic after the race.

Thanks guys :)

To be honest, in all those years I've been to Spa, I've always had the privilege to have VIP-access due to my parents working for Total, so I'm afraid I can't help with that. (our parking is always at La Source)

The La Source roundabout is also only VIP-accessible, so I suppose the Ster-roundabout is the same.
