GT4 grid in IMSA Pilot Challenge is great but that was not always the case and back then PWC seemed to have better GT4 grids. So there must be some connection here.

The schedule with the different regional championship is confusing as fuck. At least now the GT class is under one championship. Last couple of years were even more confusing with the SprintX and non-SprintX races. Not even the name "SprintX" made sense since the races were loner than the regular GT races.
Car counts on the privateer side started to tank really hard when SRO took over and decided that racing in front of nobody was better than running with IndyCar for the GT3 Series.

Not counting the factory funded side, which made up a bulk of the field back in the PWC/SPEED era

Honestly don't like the layout. Bit strange seeing them race on the apron and not the banking.

It seems strange but it's what they did on the old configuration before they banked the place for NASCAR because some fans bitched about boring racing

on that side of things, it sucks that there is no low banked 1.5 milers anymore, between LVMS & Kansas both getting reconfigured.
