If Whincup didn't have that issue yesterday he also would have still won it. What if's what if's.

That's not a good thing.

Why you would want your own Captain Vanilla is beyond me.

Whincup lost by 2 points in 2007 and last year he was only a lap away in the first Sydney race of getting points so he wasn't too far away from 5 championships in a row

Whincup wouldn't have won the title last year had he got points or not; Courtney still would've beat him by 20 points or so. Even though I dislike him, I still dip my hat to him; been the best driver in the field for the last 4 years.

And we've already got the first 2012 livery revealed: Lee Holdsworth's IRWIN Tools Ford

Bleh boring livery. But I'm happy to see Lee in the team.

I didn't say it was a good thing. There wasn't a sarcastic-smiley handy.

No doubt the car and overall package is great but Whincup is a very, very good driver imo. His history in the sport is more than enough to back it up.

Either way, Ford were retarded to reject Triple 8 from factory team status. I say this as a Ford fan :(

Going over old ground, but it was far more involved than Ford just rejecting Triple 8.

That's too bad, i hope New Zealand gets another track for V8 Supercars. This little Country make a lot for motorsport with his BIG Passion.

Oh we have tracks suitable for V8's, they just seem to be determined to have a street race here which simply isn't possible, the Hamilton race has turned into a complete disaster for the council and rate payers, defenately going to leave a very sour taste in our mouths
