Hamilton this year was also far worse.

Kelly Brothers were 1st and 3rd that day as well. Would've loved to see a Reynolds, Slade or VG be up there.

Not sure if news, but next year V8s are a support race to F1 at Abu Dhabi in November.

Whincup and Winterbottom on the front row for today's race.

Crompton going off at D'alberto for hitting the back of Murphy after his spin. Pretty clear from the replay that D'alberto slowed approaching Murph but was pushed into him by Coulthard.

Speaking of which, Greg Murphy and Pepsi Max are both returning to Kelly Racing next season. Also Dean Fiore will move to DJR and have sponsorship from Jim Beam with Moffat expected to campaign a Norton 360 liveried Falcon from the same stable.

Lucas Dumbrell is suing CAMS and Formula Ford over his accident at Oran Park that left him a quadriplegic.

While it's sad that he sustained the injuries he did, I don't agree that he should be able to sue. He hit the car in front of him when it slowed under safety car.

Horay for litigation. This is why motorsports is going to shit with over-regulation and rules that punish any attempt to pass. Shit happens in racing and while safety has to be top priority, not being able to see a yellow flag that the driver in front plainly did isn't reason enough to point the finger at officials and expect compensation.
