Eh there go the desires to work within the industry, a lot of teams did their own design and development of componentry but you can say goodbye to all that. Not saying it's a bad thing at all, just unfortunate for those wishing to enter the industry from an engineering point of view.

The V8SuperTourer for New Zealand is most certainly not a converted road car. It was designed by PACE Innovations, the same lot that did the CotF, and was designed and built from the ground up with a purpose-built monocoque chassis, which is able to be cloaked in many different bodyshapes, just like the V8Supercar CotF.


For the record i think both idea's are rubbish, all touring cars should be based on road cars (and able to be converted from road cars)
