IS the greater fuel efficiency of the SBR cars enough to compensate for their slower pace?
I guess it will depend on when the last pace cars occur at the end of the race - I don't think it was enough to prevent co drivers having to do 3 stints

the fuel strategy is going to be really interesting - the easiest way to pass someone is to put less fuel in than them at a pitstop and everyone looks like they need to short fuel at some stage

Just had a massive NASCAR 99 flashback there.

Some awesome racing here between Besnard and Lowndes, looks like Besnard may be heating the rears up just a bit, both drivers going at 99.9%

Besnard's car look pretty unhappy down at the Chase, certainly for the last few laps now. Very, very tight stuff. Lowndes starting to get a bit aggravated from the sound of it, though Besnard has been pretty damn clean so far.

Good battle for the lead there.
