Seeing some of the balls of rubber around they're huge, guess one of those hit the Audi.

Drat. Been a good race so far. Starting to make me wonder why so many people revere Le Mans and yet don't bother watching any other endurance racing all year. Including myself

Appears the #78 BMW with Alzen onboard that had been running second was in the box for an extended period - he's lost nearly three laps and slipped back to 7th overall.

Looks like some more rain again as the times at the front are back up to the 2:50 region.

Engine misfire for the #78 apparently, he's now returned to the track.

Rain is falling quite heavily in fact, both BMWs onto wets.

From the 24 Hours of Spa ‎facebook page:

Quote:
#78 restarted after misfire problem going down to the 5th place. Currently 61, 63, 72 and 84 are surely out of the race.

They're also updating on Twitter - which is a good place for the Planetlemans updates as well.

#73 Audi's now gone past the #78 BMW for 7th overall, the pass being done on track.

The #13 Porsche with Marco Holzer on board has now passed the #16 for second overall as well.

Additionally, the #52 Porsche from Muehlner Motorsport appears to have stopped with reported gearbox problems.

Safety car! #73 lost 7th again to the #78 after a slow third sector, wondering if that's where the problem is.

EDIT: Could be to go recover the #52 Porsche at Turn 15.
