Aussies don't fuck about, they just get on with it.
You could imagine if that happened here, nobody can go on track without a dayglow jacket, investigation into why the tree fell over, then Health and Safety would shut the track and evacuate everybody from the track before deconstruction work could proceed and maybe the race would get restarted 3 weeks later.....

they are hoping for 2-3 racing laps after the safety goes off, the rules state they cannot restart unless all cars are nice and bunched in behind the safety car.

1 more lap under SC then racing.

EDIT: almost had a clusterfuck coming down to the chase with the fast cars only just catching up to the slower cars under safety car

commentators saying that the 12 hours will be up just after the lead cars make the first turn so 2 racing laps to go

EDIT: SC speeding up down the mount ready for a restart

F#CK or not, FG falcon stopped going up the mount looks to be overheating

The only thing more anticlimactic than 12 hours of racing leading up to a finish under yellow is a 24-hour race finishing under yellow.
The wagon almost made the podium!
