Pretty pissed about the BS delayed telecast on Sunday for Adelaide viewers just cause the crows and port games are on the same day. V8's need to get a better deal instead of playing second fiddle to the AFL.

Finally another V8 round, though they have been a bit lackluster thus far.

Ingall was so much quicker than Tander, bloody traffic ruined what would have been a good fight. Love this sprint tyre though, not as large performance gap here but it still throws a nice spanner in the works.

Also what is with McConville? Can't qualify for shit but always seems to warp his way through the field for the race.

My god the XXXX angles are terrible, but so damn sexy!

Looking forward to this race, temps will make any tyre changes interesting.

Didn't see yesterday but really enjoyed todays race and was quite intrigued to see the age of the guys on the podium (Whincup, Davison & Coulthard). Good to see the young guys do well.

Thought the stewarding was crap - how did Dumbrell get away with blocking Coulthard into the hairpin when he was blue flagged (2 or 3 laps to go). Would have been interesting to see if Fabian had anything for Davison and Wincup because he sure caught them quickly. Also Patrizzi needed shot for what he did at the hairpin (and didn't even get a drive thru), Steve Richards somehow avoided punishment for spinning Murph (enjoyed the love taps he gave him though!).

I enjoyed Race 2. I missed Race 1 due to work. I just wish there were a few more laps to see what Coulthard could do.

It was fairly average but the Enforcer was up on the wheel!

Enjoy race two a lot. Winterbottom should have stolen that one. I'd like to know what happened between he and Murph.

Tim Slade 9th in Race 2

What was up with the compulsory pit stops? I didn't like that.

Initially the fuel burn at the start of the year was expected to be poor so you wouldn't get 100km on a tank of fuel. This was proved wrong at Adelaide.

For rounds after this they looked at bringing in a smaller fuel tank to make cars have to pit at least once per 100km. This was going to be costly so they've changed the rules that in a 100km race there must be at least one stop where 50L of fuel is used, and in a 200km race there must be at least two stops where 100L is used.

The smaller tanks were only going to be used for the non-endurance races.
120L tanks will be in use for Bathurst. I think these were getting 130-150km at Adelaide.
So 6 or 7 stops for Bathurst.

Might actually see some teams doing endurance runs rather than full out sprints.
