Seems like financial crisis has taken toll on this series as well, as number of entrants has gone down. I'm not sure if there's more to come but only 13 drivers is listed in the series page.

Just ...13 (thirteen!!!) cars?! oh god that sucks. They still might have good races though.

Interesting, Motors is showing the event this Saturday at 19.00 CET already!

Ouch... this is a series that has never hurt for car counts. Strange that the field would be cut in half in just one season. No Uwe Alzen? Boo... I always enjoy him slamming into people and getting a drive through.

How is it possible there are only 13 cars? Last year it was like 30 cars. They can better run the speedcar cars during the same race to fill up the field.

Even Sweden's Carrera Cup has about 30 cars! Weird...

Seems like the credit crunch has hit the Supercup, but its allowing thye national series to flourish. At the frst round Britain had 20 cars with many more expected.

Last year there were 26 cars at the starting grid. WTH ..... now 14 cars ... that´s bad. Well is Porsche directly supporting the series with their own budget (some1 knows)? Don´t know much about that cos Porsches stock/shares fell down since may 2008 like water the waterfall about 80 € (from 135 €!!!).

Well I tried to find out a bit about Schnabel-Engineering and Uwe Alzen but without success :( ... maybe someone else got infos about what they did or why they quit in context with PSC.

But I found out that they ve launched another point system named "Rookie of the year". The new comer who ll has got the most points out of the seasons races will win this one.

...

And YES: boring ... it was really a "dust" race cos there was not that much action at all. 14 cars tzztzztzzzz.......

Watched both races today finally... what a snoozefest. I may have shot myself if it wasn't DEGA/THRUXTON FEVER 2009.
