Just came back and ithe 6 races (2 WTCC, 1 Formula BMW Americas, 1 Latam CHallenge Series and 2 National Series) were good...Well, maybe FBMW was not that good ...Great enviroment and probablty 90% seating used, which was great.

SEAT are appealing the 30 second penalty given to Tarquini *Rolls eyes*

http://www.crash.net/WTCC/News/144317/1 ... ppeal.html

I hope they give 'em a harsher punishment and give all the SEATs a 30 second penalty

How can they appeal that? Tarquini should have back off in the situation but chose to continue pushing Jorg until the inevitable happened. It was a racing incident, but totally avoidable.

Exactly, through the previous corner he was ramming Muller trying to knock him out of the way. Then he just blatantly punted him off, a 30 second penalty was pretty lenient considering.

Bet SEAT will threaten to pull out over "Bias toward BMW" *rolls eyes*

Hit Muller from behind through the flat-out oval curve, then tried to go up the inside at the corner off the oval, spinning Muller off.

Personally I didn't think the move up the inside was that bad, but hitting someone from behind on the oval is completely unacceptable, that could have been a nasty crash if Muller hadn't been able to hold on to it.

The FIA will, they always seem to bend over backwards to make sure SEAT stay.

Why do Seat behave in this way? I don't remember any other manufacturer feeling the need to whinge and moan so much before.

Exactly. First exploiting the rules (which is also partly the FIA's fault) and then complaining about anything as if it was the end of the world when they do not win the race in 1-2-3-4-5-6 for once. Bah! :yuk:

Enjoyed the racing, much better than at Curitiba. Hope for more of the same as the season progresses.

It's a shame SEAT has stolen so much of the attention with the constant bitching and moaning, as the racing this weekend was actually quite good.

As for Tarquini, you get what you deserve. Bumping round the oval is completely unacceptable, Jorg did well to hang on to the car. His spin off was his own fault and his thirty second penalty ought to stand. The FIA ought to stand up to the crap and hold SEAT down... Would certainly be interesting to see how SEAT would respond... :o

The BTCC did that and SEAT pulled out. Still, it was the right choice by Alan Gow to tell them to stick it. I'd much rather have less cars on the grid with it still being an actual sport, unlike the WTCC which is just a SEAT commercial.
