There was a last minute widthdrawal of HubAuto entry with Estre/Pilet/Bachler due to a shipping delay. So car count now stands at 30 overall (19 GT3 and of those 10 are PRO).

Saturday

Thunderstorms likely afternoon-evening 16-29

Sunday

Thunderstorms likely morning-afternoon 15-31

Yuck, humid, stormy weather. Not predicting much rain, but short sharp storms could hit.

Shattered I won't get to see much of this event. It should be our greatest motor racing event on the calendar, now that the 1000 is a snooze fest.

The Americans in the Bathurst chat are talking about a huge spintcar crash that's just happened on Floracing, car into the stands apparently that doesn't look good

No doubt we'll be hearing about that tomorrow 8O

If that's it, the driver is apparently okay, and it didn't look like any fans were involved, thank God!

It was a mercedes sprinter van full of journalists, who are on a "circuit safari" for those curious

Seems like an accident waiting to happen, sending a slow minibus out there while there's live practicing going on....

First race of the day ends with a pass between the Murray's (final) corner and the start finish line about 100m away :8:

Now onto Practice

That was a hard hit into Forest's Elbow that looked a lot harder on replay than the camera angle of the car against the barrier made it appear...
