Yeah pretty stupid. If you don't feel like you can start a race properly at night, don't start at night

(Or the actual solution - trust the drivers and start the race properly)

at Interlagos most endurance events start at midnight more like a tradition, but is quite nice doing that in Australia for us who don't want to spend the whole night awake to watch it

plus it dawned quite quikly
