What's the deal with the pitlane here.....you're able to cut through the final F1 corner and take the lane with cones if you don't want to do a full lap? :?

Yep, but obviously the lap won't count. It's for emergencies you might notice on the GP track, so that you don't have to limp around the whole Nordschleife.

Tourenwagen Legenden doesn't use the Nordschleife :(

I think F1C or rFactor had this exact thing included. I don't know how they managed it, but it was pretty impressive for the time!
