$20 says it winds up being canceled.

If not, it will have at least a depleted driver field and I'd imagine a depleted field of cars. Too many conflicts. On the other hand, if it does go ahead, it may give other drivers a chance to shine in a big race since there will have to be a lot of substitutions.

It's not a good date but I think there was only the one international entry confirmed for the February date anyway, with supposedly a few more in the works so it probably won't be any worse. And moving it forward will maybe give some more local amateur teams time to get an entry together.

I could see SRO moving the Magny Cours event for it anyway.

2022 Bathurst 12 hour is tomorrow. Can't find a thread for it but there are forecasts for reasonable rain tomorrow, potentially at the start (they start in the dark as well don't forget)

One crash yesterday:

Saw the thread title and thought there'd been a track break up or fuel shortage or something

About 30 hours :p

Sadly all the saturday support races and qualifying is starting too late for us Europeans, about 2 and a half hours from now

Final qualifying results:

Format was changed from the top10 shootout to 2 x 15 min sessions due to tyre heating problems apparently.

If I was the support catagories this weekend I'd be asking for a refund on my track time

There was a minor 2 car shunt in Aussie Racing cars on the start both times and it turned their 8 lap race into 1 lap shootouts

Race Controls policy for any incident at the start is SC for multiple laps then any incident after that, put the chequred flag out early and end the race
I swear the ARC only got about 25% of their sched :o uled laps....

It's a perennial problem, they never give enough time for support categories to get their races done if they have safety cars.

Bathurst is big enough for slow zones isn't it. Would it work in ARC though?
